How do I buy my first year’s license and how much does it cost?
Your license for your first year of Dance with A Difference™ is £100.00 and this is included in the purchase price of £250.00 for your Dance with A Difference™ business in a box.
How long does my license last for?
Your license lasts for one year from the purchase date of your Dance with A Difference™ business in a box.
How do I renew my license, and what happens if I forget to re-new?
We know how hectic and busy a teachers life can be, so unless you tell us that you don’t want to renew your license, don’t worry, it’s all taken care of. After your first year we will automatically re-new your licence for you.
What qualifications do I need to teach Dance with A Difference™?
You will need an enhanced CRB check and insurance with public liability. If you deal with children you should already have these, but then the beauty of Dance with A Difference™ is that you do not need professional qualifications to teach Dance with A Difference™. If you have rhythm, you need to love interacting not only with children but adults too, you need to have a positive attitude, encouraging and praising children even when they get things wrong, you need to be hard working and ambitious, you need to have boundless energy - it takes a lot to keep this age group engaged and you need to have the determination and an enthusiasm to succeed
Which license will I need to teach Dance with A Difference™ a PPL or a PRS license?
All the music we use has been specially written for us by Kevin Dyson, and we hold the copyright. Therefore you do not need any licence to play our music.
Where can I teach Dance with A Difference™?
You can teach Dance with A Difference™ wherever you want. Unlike a franchise there are no restrictions and teachers will be responsible for their own codes of practice. However, if you are an Early Years Provider Establishment, and you License that establishment to allow the teaching of Dance with A Difference™, then that is the only establishment at which you can teach.
How much do I charge for a session of Dance with A Difference™?
There really is no fixed charge. Dance with A Difference™ can be taught in so many different arenas, whether you take it into a pre school or primary school, hire a hall and hold classes or even Dance with A Difference™ parties. If you are an Early Years Provider you could add Dance with A Difference™ to your syllabus as a chargeable extra. Whichever way you choose to go you may charge whatever the market will allow.
Am I allowed to hire other teachers to teach Dance with A Difference™ for me?
No. When you buy a license to teach Dance with A Difference™ you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the license, and these state that the license holder, be they an individual or school, is the only person allowed to teach Dance with A Difference™. Additional licenses can be purchased if you want to have ‘Multiple’ teachers in your school/Dance Establishment. Please contact us for discounts.
But I am an Early years provider, and I have more than one establishment, could I teach multiple lessons simultaneously at my establishment, or indeed at all of my establishments?

Once I have bought my License for Dance with A Difference™, what ongoing support is there?
There will be a tutorial DVD supplied with the business in a box, there are teacher training days and our dedicated staff are always willing to help you. How do I make contact with Play-schools etc?
Pre printed forms are supplied, with full instructions of how to use these to make your initial contact.
