Dance with A Difference™ is a totally new concept in Dance and Education and is suitable
for All children, mainstream and special needs.
It has been trialled at Pre-School locations with very positive comments.
Dance with A Difference™ consists of a group of programmes of dance and movement, aimed at pre-school and primary school children; it has also proved to be very beneficial to special needs children.
But one of the greatest strengths that Dance with A Difference™ has is its flexibility. Dance with A Difference™ is the culmination of 12 years of research and development into the blending of Dance and Education and is ready to be made available to the general public to teach in Early Years Providers Settings under license.
These programmes have been developed over a period of 12 years in close consultation with nursery, pre-school and play school teachers and, in line with all government and EYFS key stage 1 needs, Dance with A Difference™ covers ALL of the requirements for Pre-school education in the UK.
Dance with A Difference™ is twofold. The programmes have been formulated in such a way that whilst children are enjoying, through play, the Music Movement and Mime aspects of the programmes, they are, without realising it, learning the skills that re-enforce and compliment the EYFS requirements of Key stage 1.
By selling licenses to teach Dance with A Difference™ we feel that this is a low cost and affordable way to get into business. You would be buying a branded service but at a fraction of the price of a franchise, and as it’s a license you would have leeway to put your own personal stamp on the programmes, which means that you would have individual independence but based around the primary teaching methods.
Franchises are great – some of the biggest and most recognisable names on the high street are franchises, Rosemary Conley®, McDonalds®, Subway® and Domino’s Pizzas® to name but a few. All have a high profile brand image and all are extremely good at what they do.
They give you a proven business model to follow, offer help and support throughout and well-established franchises like these can be a way to make money once you have cleared your original investment, which may run into several thousands of pounds.
Most children's franchises, be they tutorial, physical, partying or dance based are mostly after school or competing against the always very popular dance classes. Dance with A Difference™ can be taken into schools as a replacement for a standard PE lesson, can be used by dance teachers in their dancing schools, either as a standalone product/service or as an introduction to dance for pre-school children.
Child care establishments would also benefit from having Dance with A Difference™ on their premises, either through visiting licensed professional teachers, or by becoming a licensed teacher themselves. And with over 100,000 childcare establishments in England, the market is huge. It’s so flexible and so fun for the children that if you are an Early Years Provider, you could offer Dance with A Difference™ sessions as a chargeable extra, and you could run unlimited classes (so long as you stayed within the license agreement).
